Off Road Go-Karting

Off Road Karting is a fast, adrenaline fuelled event in the Lincoln . The Off Road Karting activity session starts with a safety briefing at the track side. Safety equipment is issued and drivers are given the opportunity to practice driving the off road kart's before the race begins.

The Off Road Karting activity is run on a time trial or endurance basis (depending on group size), where drivers set off at approximately 10 second intervals around our 12 acre, 900 metre grass track. It is a non - contact activity and there are several overtaking opportunities on the off road karting track should you catch up . Lap times are measured by computer controlled timing equipment that allows you to track your position throughout the event. The Off Road Kart's are raced around a course of testing turns and fast straights, designed to really test your skill behind the wheel!

The Kart's:

We currently run a maximum of 6 off road bocart's (as featured on Top Gear) powered by 270cc or 390cc engines. Each kart has a high-backed padded seat, 4 point harness and roll cage and suspension. Participants will need to arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the Off Road Karting Activity to sign in and get kitted up for a prompt start.

Pricing

We have recently changed our pricing structure to a "Hire by the kart".

This means you can have several people sharing a kart which reduces the cost per person, or have a kart each if you fancy. The choice is yours!

Our staff will organise your races, so you will get the maximum time in the kart. We can organise Rally style time trials or endurance races

Our recommendation for a good session is 2 or 4 people per kart. This gives each person a race, then a short rest. You will get dirty, so a short break is always good.

There are 2 different styles of events we will run for you.

Rally Style: This involves the karts starting the race at 5-10 second intervals. The karts individual laps are timed and also the overall time to complete a set of laps (i.e 6 lap race). After the race is completed, the drivers are given there best lap time, but more importantly, their overall time. This is used to rank the drivers, who will then be placed into different heats according to their times.

Endurance Race: Each kart has a team assigned to it, of between 2-5 drivers. The aim is to complete as many laps of the track as possible in the session time. The teams decide their own stratagies, such as how many laps their drivers will complete before changing.
